In fact, we might even be the most irreverent, fun-loving brand within Flight Centre! We love a laugh, can be a little bit cheeky, and we genuinely love what we do – which is make the process of exchanging currencies a positive and safe experience for travellers. All of this feeds into our culture – we work hard, play hard – so we have monthly get-togethers to celebrate all the successes of the month and inspire ourselves for the next! Crazy to think it's 20 years since the interview! Back then the ad said, "a foreign language would be useful". So, I had a crack. Didn't think I'd get it 'cause I was always bad at maths. But somehow, I did. And I found my tribe: a motley crew of fabulous misfits, passionate about the world, about service, and about my success. Travel Money Oz gave me opportunities in training, leadership, Risk and Compliance. They took me partying around the world. And guess what? I can do maths now! Anything's possible - Travel Money Oz taught me that!
I joined Travel Money Oz in 2008 as a Brand Accountant. Jump forward a couple of "interesting years" and I was thrilled to get the opportunity to return to my favourite business and get to lead our amazing Retail business. It's been an amazing journey and I can't wait to see what the future holds. I reckon it's going to be amazing!
